The words you are speaking are often not what you mean

Why is that when you are speaking and talking to us about your day or how you have been that it is often NOT what you mean. In fact often enough when you finish talking we find out that it wasn't what you said but how you felt about the day that really mattered.

What!? I told you that you look beautiful.

Why is it that when a woman is going to come to dinner or go out for the night they always begin to doubt that they are beautiful. We men almost always try our best to compliment them but it is not the clothes they are wearing that keeps us by their side. I for one am a man who could care less if you are in jeans and a t-shirt if we went out to eat but had a great conversation and truly got along on an intellectual level. I'm sure there are other men out there that would agree it is not what you wear ladies it is your mind that is timeless and truly is means more to me than if you were Megan Fox.

Number 3

The "What are you feeling? or What are you thinking?" questions

When we have our arm around you at the theater or are cuddled up for a picnic watching the sunset and you ask us what are we thinking or feeling and we respond with something "dumb" like yeah I'm a bit cold I can grab a blanket or I'm still hungry would you care for some popcorn?

It is not that we don't care about you but we are not thinking deeply at the time and are simply experiencing the moment enjoying being with you. Our nature as the man is to be the protector and the provider it just comes natural to us to take care of your needs and it is not always second nature to tap into our "inner feelings".

Stop fixing my clothes!

I really appreciate it when a woman takes me shopping and helps me pick out clothing because frankly I am not one with great fashion sense or the patience to deal with many clothing stores and brain dead Taylors. But when it is after the 15th or so thing in a single store that I no longer feel like I am making any choices for myself and I have become some kind of Kent doll for your sick amusement. When I come out of the dressing room and you lick your fingers and mess with my hair each time it begins to drive me insane. As a man we just want clothes that are comfortable, and make us look sharp and confident. Our hair has nothing to do with clothes shopping...

Number 1

Look but don't touch!

As men we know that sexual attraction is only a glance away. Why is it that women constantly take advantage of us and wear clothing that is obviously going to make us tempted. Sure some men argue that they like the "Eye Candy" but what is the point? If you are attracting a man who is only interested in your behind then you will likely never find someone you truly can fall in love with and grow old and happy with. I'm not saying that you can't look sexy but simply do it in a way that shows of your face or be sexy with the way you use your words. Skirts are one of my personal favorite things to see on a pretty woman as it is often not revealing, shows off their femininity, and draws the eyes to their face.
