looks like you forgot Troy Aikman - 3 Super Bowl trophies, most winning QB of the 90's...no hard feelings though:)
Yeah I know, Phillip Rivers and Donovan McNabb are the fantasy quarterbacks I will be drafting. Fantasy wise Quarterbacks and Running backs are vastly available. Therefore it is important to draft quality wide receivers with your top draft picks. There are always wavier wire wonder QBs and RBs but rarely WRs.
Steve Smith is a great receiver, however he is battling an injury currently. Delhomme though I just don't believe he is that good of a quarterback. When he threw 4 interceptions in that playoff lost I feel like my opinion of him was confirmed.
The Packers have been saying they want to run the ball 30 times a game long before Majik-man and Favre took snaps. The Packers are still a pass-oriented team with perhaps the best wide receiving corp and budding tight end in the game. Rodgers learned alot sitting for those first few years - and not that the Favre drama is over - this is his team. The Packers will have a running game just good enough to set up the play-action pass and screens. With two very good tight ends - the Packers resemble the dominant team of the 90s they once were. If Capers 3-4 D actually works (which it did without all the starters against the Browns), the Offense will have pleanty of opportunities to score. Rodgers is taking this team to another level this year.
Thats why he is still ranked in the top 5. He was my starting QB last season. I was just pointing out a claim made by the Packers. It is quite a foolish idea given how poorly Grant ran last season.
I think Matt Ryan is going to continue to do well but I do agree that Brady is the best and he will show the league this year why he is a superior player as long as he can stay healthy.
Glad you agree with my number 1 ranked quarterback.!
Cutler didn't have any real "weapons" in Denver. I'm not sure what the Broncos coach was thinking in getting rid of him and starting all this controversy.
Not sure who I will pick this year. Peyton is always a sure thing.
He has Brandon Marshall who had two 12,000 plus seasons back to back. But not much else, no quality running back.
It also depends on the league scoring. If more points are given for yards, I think Brees is the top pick. But I wouldn't take him first. You have to take Adrian Peterson as your first pick.
Brady is looking good as well as Manning this year. But I am not sure yet if I would be willing to spend a first round pick on one. A back could be more valuable depending where I draw.
Mark Sanchze might be a good pick up as a back up though if you can somehow swing it.
another reason to boycott Fox
Still think the Colts will have a sub-par year?
6 & 0
Nope. Didn't I already reply to that?
The Saints have the easiest schedule for the new few weeks. Can't go wrong with picking Brees to runaway with the fantasy points this week.

As you can see, Drew, I went with other. You yourself said that Big Name QBs aren't always what they're cracked up to be. I expect a rough start from Eli, but some chump like Mark Sanchez just might steal the show...Delhomme should not be ignored either. He's got one of the best receivers in Steve Smith.
