A few days ago, I was on the phone with one of my oldest friends. We were feeling nostalgic, reminiscing about stories of the hundreds of house parties we used to attend. Now we are now adults. I live in Brooklyn, while she is in Jersey. We’re only an hour apart from one another. And with Halloween approaching, I agreed to take the train down to wreck havoc with my partner in crime. With Halloween approaching, I know there will people having parties and celebrating as well. Here are a few recipes for those who are celebrating. PLEASE remember to drink responsibly!

Acid Trip

-1 ½ ounce Midori melon liqueur

-1/2 ounce Vodka

-½ ounce Tequila

-1/2 ounce Gin

(Shake all contents with ice, and strain in a cocktail glass)

 

Blood of the Innocent

-6 ounces Hawaiian Punch

-6 ounces of Vodka (*Suggestion--Skyy Cherry Vodka)

(With 12oz. HIGHBALL glass, fill half way with Hawaiian Punch, add ice, and fill rest of glass with vodka) *Other option—Pour Hawaiian Punch in 12 oz. HIGHBALL glass, take a mouthful of punch, fill rest of glass with vodka*

 

Brown Eyed Girl

-4 ounces of vodka

-1 ½ Coca Cola

-A shot of grenadine

(Serve with ice in HIGHBALL or HURRICANE GLASS)

 

French Whore

-1 ounce Vodka

-1/2 ounce of Raspberry Liqueur (*Suggestion—Bols Raspberry liqueur)

-1/2 ounce Pineapple juice

 

Garden Grove

-4 shots of Citrus Vodka (*Suggestion—Grey Goose Le Citron)

-1 ounce of Lemon Juice

-1 shot of Peach Schnapps

-1 shot of Tequila

(Fill to top with Orange Juice)

 

Milky Way

-2 ounces of Vanilla Vodka (*Suggestion—Grey Goose La Vanille/ Stoli Vanil)

-2 ounces of Chocolate Liqueur (*Suggestion—Godiva chocolate liqueur)

-1 ounce of Irish Crème

(Shake all contents and strain into martini glass)

 

New Jersey Devil

-1 ½ ounce of Southern Comfort

-1 ½ ounce of Vodka

-2 ounces of Peach Schnapps

-2 ounces of Cranberry Juice

-1 ounce of Orange Juice

-Splash of Grenadine

(Mix all alcohol into ice filled shaker, shake, then add all Juices and Grenadine, Shake again, strain into HIGH BALL GLASS)

 

Power Drill

-1 plash of Beer

-1 part Vodka

-1 part Orange Juice

(Almost fill shot glass with equal parts of orange juice and vodka, splash beer to top of shot)

 

Suicidal Screwdriver

-6 ounces of Orange Juice

-2 ounces of Vodka

-2 shots of Tequila

-1 shot Peach Schnapps

 

Thrill Me

-3 ounces of vodka

-3 ounces of tequila

-2 ounces of orange juice

-1 ounce of gin
