Top Ten Sexy Male Vampires

I got sucked into the Vampire world through Anne Rice. The Vampire Chronicles took me to some interesting places. I was an avid reader and she was one of my favorite authors. I was not a vampire connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination but there were some things that I learned along the way. Then I met and married my husband little did I know how far his knowledge of and interest in vampires went. I would soon find out. Perhaps that is why at this very moment Barnabas Collins is staring at me from a framed picture on the wall as I write. Because of his interest in the Vampire world I decided to write about the Top Ten Sexy Male Vampires and the Top Ten Sexy Female Vampires.

ANTONIO BANDERAS

Antonio Banderas as Armand in Interview with a Vampire (1994). Antonio Banderas was born August 10, 1960 in Andalucia, Spain. Armand is a theater vampire who disguises himself as a human and feeds on humans who are in mock plays in front of human audiences who believe that the killings are simply a part of the performance.

BRAD PITT

Brad Pitt as Louis de Pointe du Lac in Interview with a Vampire (1994). Brad Pitt was born December 18, 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Louis is telling his life story to a reporter about how as a Plantation Owner he was sired by Lestat after Louis became distraught and what happened in his life up to the point where Louis and the reporter are talking in San Francisco.

DAVID BOREANAZ

David Boreanus as Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. David Boreanus was born May 16, 1969 in Buffalo, New York. Angel is a reckless vampire who in his early years slaughtered his family and many others. Hundreds of years later Angel falls in love with the vampire slayer during a time when he trying to redeem himself. Later Angel starts his own agency to help fight vampires.

EDDIE MURPHY

Eddie Murphy as Maximilian in Vampire in Brooklyn (1995). Eddie Murphy was born April 3, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York. Maximilian is the last surviving vampire and creating chaos while looking for someone to turn so that he is not alone anymore.

JAMES MARSTERS

James Marsters as Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. James Marsters was born August, 20, 1962 in Greenville, California. Spike was sired by Drusilla who was sired by Angel. Once Spike was turned he turned his mother to save her from sickness. Spike ended up staking his mother since she continually taunted him and Spike ended up being loyal to Drusilla.

KIEFER SUTHERLAND

Kiefer Sutherland as David in Lost Boys (1987). Kiefer Sutherland was born December 21, 1966 in London, England. David is the leader of a local gang of “half vampires” who is trying to befriend a young man for his girlfriend’s first kill.

PETER FACINELLI

Peter Facinelli as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in Twilight (2008). Peter Facinelli was born November 26, 1973 in Queens, New York. Dr. Cullen is turned when his father has him hunt for vampires and the vampires bite him. Unlike other vampires Dr. Cullen fed off of animals and helped people.

ROBERT PATTINSON

Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen in Twilight (2008). Robert Pattinson was born May 13, 1986 in London, England. Edward was sired by his doctor after his family dies from the Spanish Flu. At the time Edward is very sick as well and his mother asks the doctor to save him.

STUART TOWNSEND

Stuart Townsend as Lestat de Lioncourt in Queen of the Damned (2002). Stuart Townsend was born December 15, 1972 in Dublin, Ireland. Lestat is a vampire that has a new life as a rock star. Lestat is led to the Queen Akasha the mother of all vampires who he awakens, so that she may rule again.

WESLEY SNIPES

Wesley Snipes as Blade in the Blade Trilogies; Blade (1998), Blade II (2002) and Blade Trinity (2004). Wesley Snipes was born July 31, 1962 in OrlandoFlorida. Blade is a vampire hunter. Blade’s mother was bitten by a vampire when she was pregnant with him causing him to have the powers but none of the weaknesses of a vampire.

Of course this is only a few of the many sexy male vampires out there. I know that there are many more out there and I am almost certain that there are many more to come as the interest in vampires continues.
