The best way to learn Web 2.0 marketing is to find some that know what they are doing and learn from them. Imitate everything they do and listen to all the details as things are constantly changing.

Not being a very techie person myself, the idea of Web 2.0 marketing was like baptism by fire. I wanted to stick to what I knew and stay in my comfort zone which proved to be very unwise. I remember when I earned my first two thousand dollars doing Web 2.0 marketing I was amazed how quickly and almost effortlessly it happened (about 3 hours total work). I really couldn't believe it, until I saw the money in my merchant account. Then I was convinced!

Now I must say that Web 2.0 marketing is a different animal and does take some getting used to. Being used to traditional direct response marketing made me like a fish out of water at first. The main idea behind this concept is community. It's relating and networking with people like you're a big party. You wouldn't hard sell or pitch somebody at a party, would you?

Web 2.0 Marketing is a no pressure deal that allows you to let your hair down (if only I had some left) and mix and mingle. Once you have built rapport then you may hand them a business card in closing (i.e. your website address) and then mosey on over to the bar. You get the picture!.
