Top strikers at Euro 2008!

This season's UEFA European Championships has already kicked off and already there is plenty of football talent and goals around. But who is your favourite striker, and what team does he play for, or are you just a neutral who likes to see quality players doing what they do best, putting the ball in back of the net! There are 16 football teams on display including Switzerland, the hosts,Portugal, Spain, Greece, the holders, Turkey, Czech Republic,Austria, Croatia, Germany,Poland, Holland, Italy, France, Russia, Sweden and Romania.

How do you pick the top football players, is it by the team they play for, the number of goals they score, their general all round play or their talent. I believe the top strikers have a combination of those four things. A quality striker will do better in a talented team where they get more service and support. A top striker should also be a team player and be able to set up other players for goal scoring opportunities and ideally he should have natural talent. Ultimately you define a striker's talent by the number of goals they score!
