The gamer I spoke to stated, “Mario Kart is probably the best game for real gamers, not just moms and dads thinking the Wii fit would be the answer to their exercise needs. Kids tend to play more Wii than mom and dad. We can play for quite some time before we get bored. We can hang out with friends and play for hours. We would rather play Mario Kart than Wii Fit”. Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out in March of 2008 and is still going strong in the sales. It is rated T for teens.

It is a game you can play with three other gamers which means there is endless fun. Mario and Sonic at the Olympics has been one of the top Wii games since November 2007. It appears Mario and company has their hands on the pulse of the gamers. They come out with very popular games all the time. Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock and Guitar Hero World Tour have been very popular with gamers.

The gamer I spoke with enjoys the variety of music that is available on Guitar Hero. The World Tour edition offers drums, microphone, and guitar. Competing with others online, forming a band with your friends, mastering the songs on your own, or making your own music for each instrument is a lot of fun. The gamer confided “it’s weird when you like the same music as your mom and dad did in high school but kind of cool too”.

The list of the top Wii games is ever changing depending on which age bracket you are looking at when purchasing games. Some of the best games to play seem to be the ones everyone can play and the more playing the merrier.
