Can an existing home number be assigned to a cell phone? I'm thinking of adding a (third) line to my cellphone plan, if I can give it my current landline number -- then ditch the landline. Is that even possible? For a variety of reasons, I'd like to keep the old home number itself. But why I should keep paying Time Warner $39 when AT&T will give me a third cell line for ten bucks. Looking for iconic, pop culture ring tones for my blackberry Since I don't really find it appropriate to use actual songs with lyrics, etc as a ring tone in a business environment, I'm using some normal ringers, but I want to add to my collection of work-friendly, but familiar to the trained ear ring tones. Example of course, is the ring tone from 24. I also have the ring tone from Chev Chelios's cell phone from the movie 'Crank'. How can I transfer data from my AU W52P Japanese cell phone to my PC via USB, having lost the CD that contains the necessary drivers/software? I don't have a microSD card, so I can't use the phone as an external storage device. I know I could just email myself the data, but that would cost precious Yen. does anyone have and use a SE k800 in the US on AT&t network. I need the settings to get on the internet I know its a triband and all that, umts wont work in America etc. But I've had a SE W800 for years and was able to get on the internet and that is triband also so what gives. So if you can get on the internet with your SE K800 and live in the US and use ATT please give me the settings or link to them thanks. and Also I live in the Philadelphia area so The phone works fine and once again can get on att with another triband phone. - 2 weeks ago

How do I cancel my contract with Verizon before my contract is up? I would like to terminate my contract with Verizon and am willing to pay the $175 early termination fee, but I'd like to transfer my phone number to my new provider. How do I go about doing this? Do I simply sign up with the new provider, they transfer my number for me, and Verizon sends me a bill after the fact? Or do I need to contact Verizon first? I have changed providers before and it was no problem, but the contract throws a wrench in my plan. I'm just looking for the quickest/easiest/painless way to do this. - 2 weeks ago
