If you are able to eat strictly raw foods, a vegetarian diet, or even a vegan diet, this will surely increase the effectiveness of the total body cleanse. You should also think about buying some Psyllium seed supplements due to the fact that they can greatly help in a cleanse process. They are completely healthy and are sometimes used as a dietary supplement to relieve constipation and diarrhea. Basically, all that Psyllium seed supplement will do is to help ensure an optimal amount of bowel movements as you undergo your cleanse.

People who are experienced with using Psyllium seed supplements for cleansing know that it is best to continue to take these supplements throughout the entire cleansing process. When you begin a cleanse, you initially want to target your diet. First you should eat only organic fruits, vegetables, and other foods that are highly healthy. You do not want to be eating foods that you normally eat. Only you will know whether or not you are cheating yourself here. Eating processed foods and unhealthy foods will make the full body cleanse relatively ineffective – so you need to have some degree of self-discipline before you start.

After you have stuck with this organic, raw diet for about two to four weeks, you can gradually begin introducing foods that you previously had in your diet such as: dairy products, meat, etc. The reintroduction of old foods into your diet should be done gradually though, because you do not want to damage any of your cleanse benefits right away.

Some people find out that they actually love eating healthier foods after doing a total body cleanse and have a much easier time going without junk foods and processed foods. The total body cleanse sure made me much more health conscious afterwards. It build up discipline within me to avoid buying unhealthy foods like cookies and chips. I also eat less meat and more fruits and dark green veggies. The only way to see if you can benefit from a total body cleanse is to try it out for yourself and see what you think. It may just be one of the most health conscious choices you’ve made in your entire life.
