The new DMFL (Double Minutes for Life) Card is now available from Tracfone for $50. This card gives you twice the number of minutes on your phone as the card states. So the $20 60 minute card will actually install 120 minutes on your phone. This brings the Tracfone Minutes down close to 10 cents a minute which makes them competitive. Otherwise at 20 to 40 cents a minute Tracfones are too expensive to use except in an emergency.

Tracfone is the largest Prepaid Cell phone provider in the United States. With Tracfone you buy the phone, activate it and then add Tracfone phone cards to it. Each phone card will give you a certain number of minutes.

Tracfone Motorola W376g

There is a brand new Motorola phone now being offered with Bluetooth 2 enabled from Tracfone. The W376g looks just like the Moto w370 except it has a camera and has Bluetooth. It is now available from the Tracfone website.

Do Not Buy a DMFL Card

If your Tracfone does not have DMFL on it you are better off to buy a new Tracfone with DMFL than to spend $50 for a DMFL card. You can buy a new Motorola W370(with DMFL on it) for the same price as a DMFL card.

Do Not Buy a Tracfone

Do not buy a Tracfone that does not have DMFL already installed. It is cheaper to buy a Net10 phone than to buy a regular Track Phone and install a DMFL card. The double minutes for life program is such a good deal you will save a lot of money by buying a phone with it already on it.

Half Price Text Messages

Your text messaging will cost half with DMFL also. Most Tracfones charge .3 units per text message both to receive and send. When you buy your minutes with DMFL your texts will be half price also. Some Tracfones charge .5 units in and out. There are some older Tracfones that do not charge to recieve text messages (I believe the Nokia 1100 is one).

Usually you can get a Free refurbished Tracfone with the purchase of phone card. Do not buy it unless the phone comes with Unlimited Double Minutes (DMFL). If you use the phone at all it will be a lot cheaper if your phone has DMFL. Always buy a Tracfone with the Double Minutes fo Life included.
