LG 225 Camera Phone Features

The LG 225 from Tracfone is a nice little folding camera phone allowing you to carry your phone in your pocket or purse without accidentally dialing.

This phone includes double displays. The little external display shows when the phone is folded. This allows checking the time or to see who is calling without opening your phone.

The camera allows you to take pictures and either store them in your phone or send them to your friends. You can send pictures to other friends or an internet address. You cannot download pictures straight to a computer because the phone does not have an accessible port.

More LG cg 225 Features:

  • Either Spanish or English language.
  • Includes a Hands free speaker phone.
  • And don't forget this phone comes with Double minutes for life, so the minute cards you add will automatically be doubled.
  • Tracfone Lg 225 features Long Distance and Roaming without extra charges.
  • Tracfone (and sister company NET10) charge the same rate for roaming and long distance as for local calls. Other prepaid cell phone providers charge more for roaming if they offer it.

This is a GSM phone which means it will work in your area if you have coverage by AT&T (Cingular) or T-mobile.

Text Messaging with the Tracfone Lg 225 The texting on this phone cost .3 units to receive and .3 units to send. This is a comfortable easy to use phone for texting.

DMFL Included with your LG CG225

The DMFL program from Tracfone normally costs $50 to add to your phone. Double Minutes for Life (DMFL) doubles the minute cards you purchase for your phone. Instead of getting 60 minutes you will get 120 minutes with the 60 minute card.

Tracfone Roaming

Tracfone has the best Roaming options of any prepaid cell company. You do not pay extra for roaming.

Bonus Codes for Tracfone

Many Tracfone bonus codes will work when you add a Tracfone Card to your prepaid Tracfone LG 225. When adding a Tracfone unit card you use the 15 digit number PIN on the receipt or minute card. The Bonus code will be a 5 digit number that you will add when you put in your PIN number. An easy way to find Bonus codes is Google Tracfone Bonus Codes. You can check here for the latest Bonus codes also

Has anyone figured out how to transfer picutures to my computer from this phone without sending the picture as a text message? I wish they would let me download my phonebook also.

Thanks

Prepaid Cell Phone Guy, I'm pretty sure that without an accessible USB port, you can't do anything between a computer and phone. HOWEVER, I have seem to find USB cables for this phone, but there are two problems,

A) A lot of times when searching LG225 on google, you get the phone from sprint, which is different from this one.

B) being the tech nerd I am, I don't like the fact you're plugging in a USB cable into a charger slot. BAD things may happen. And, from my research (if you couldn't tell already, I want to do the same thing), it seems people have a hard time finding drivers to let the computer recognize the phone once plugged in.

Good luck, and hope you have better hope than I did.

It doesn't matter if you get a cable to attach properly to your phone and your computer. Tracfone has killed the connection so you cannot transfer anything between your computer and your Tracfone. This is true with the Motorolas and the LGs.

I would like to migrate pictures from my Trac-LG225 also. Great phone, cool Camera feature, but not well thought out for the picture handling utility. Some other Phone with camera function get around this using a removable "SD" card. This is asking alot for this LG phone. Usable port,as others have stated, would've been thoughtful. If anyone reads this and has insight into the Quote: " You can send pictures to other friends or an internet address." Please tell me what internet type of address they are talking about.?? thanks

The internet address they are talking about is like an email address or something like that. I have this phone too, and the only way I have found to get my pictures off the phone and onto my computer is to email them to myself.

Just received a LG 225. Two questions:

How do I access the speakerphone feature?

What does the headset connector look like? 2.5mm 4 contact?

Thanks

I tried to email photos from my LG225 to my email address and all I got was a message with no photo. Any suggestions?

I followed the send menus from the photo on my LG225.

I also bought a cable that connects the LG225 to my computer, but my computer doesn't recognize the device.

any suggestions???

Does anyone know how the conference call feature works for the LG225? Yes, I've read the user's manual, but I don't see the feature that enables me to "join" the two calls. I can only "swap" betweent the two calls.

Any advice is welcome!

This does not look like an LG225, I have a real LG225 and it's a bit different.

It has a data cable connection in addition to the power connection. It does not have an external antenna like the one shown in the picture.

The button layout and phone design is a bit different, the one in the picture looks like an older model.
