The newest Tracfone is the Motorola W376g.
The Tracfone Motorola W376 with BlueTooth 2.0 enabled. The W376 is a GSM phone that works on AT&T or T-Mobile networks. If you have good coverage in your area by AT&t then Tracfone will be offering this phone in your area.
The W376 is obviously the little brother to the best selling Motorola Razr. Thicker than the Razr but not as wide the keyboard is the same flat design as the Razr. Both the Razr and the W376 also have the distinctive Motorola Chin which makes holding onto the W376 while texting easier.
The Moto W376g is a Single Rate Tracfone
Calls made anywhere in the United States are one unit per minute. You will only pay one unit per minute for local, long distance and roaming calls. Tracfone and Sister company NET10 are the only prepaid cell phone companies in the United States that have reasonable roaming rates. Most Prepaid phones do not offer roaming. If they do they will charge you up to fifty cents a minute for roaming.
International Calling with Tracfone

W376 texting
The new W376g texting charges are .3 units per text in and out. This is a lot better than the .5 units per text on some of the older Tracfones.
Unlimited DMFL is standard on W376g
Tracfone has come out with a new bonus program. You can purchase a Double Minutes for Life card (DMFL) for $50 and install it on your phone. As long as you own that phone you will get double the minutes [on|stated on the Tracfone Minute Card. This DMFL Bonus plan comes with your Moto W376g.
Battery life on the Tracfone W376g
The W376g uses the BQ50 Lithium Ion battery. This is a fairly large capacity Battery so the charge will last a long time between charges. It is rated to last up to 10 days between charges. This is dependent on how much you talk and how much time it is searching for a signal if you are out of cell range.
Tracfone Bluetooth Phone
The first Bluetooth enabled phone from Tracfone is the Motorola W376. You will now be able to use a Bluetooth 2.0 headset with your Tracfone Motorola W376g. This is really handy for talking while driving.
Web Access and Downloading Ring Tones
The web access allowed by Tracfone with their phones is pretty limited but that may be changing. Many options for searching the web just cannot be done yet.
Moto W376 Feel
Solid is how I would say the W376 feels in your hands. It is heavier than many phones but I do like it's heft. The W376 is the same size and feel as the W370 and the W375. It is big enough when you unfold it that it comfortably fits your face to talk (even if you have a big head). It comfortably fits into your pocket.It folds small enough that it easily fits in your pocket.
The Motorola W376g is a GSM Phone
All GSM phones use a SIM card. This card holds the information the phone uses to talk to the cell phone towers. If you have an unlocked GSM phone you can put a SIM card from different cell phone companies into it and it will work.
Tracfone GSM is Different
When you activate your Tracfone GSM phone the SIM card and phone get locked together. You cannot use a SIM card from another Tracfone or another company and get you phone to work. You can get another unactivated SIM card from Tracfone and reactivate your phone but you cannot just take an activated SIM card from another phone and use it. If you haveT-Mobile prepaid service you can pull the SIM card from any other active T-Mobile phone and the card will work in your phone.

Yes on the W370 and W375 (from Net10) Tracfone disabled the Mini USB port for data transfer. They are still afraid that people will use the phone and cut them out of the picture transfer business. Someday they will realize that anything they can do to increase the value of their phone for the customer will increase the usage of the phone. It is obvious they have discovered that people who buy the nicer camera phones use a lot more minutes. Two or three years ago when Tracfone only sold candy bar Nokia phones most users did not use many minutes. I believe the average user of the LG 225 or W370 is using more minutes per month than the average user of the Kyocera K126c. Just a guess.

How many pictures does this camera hold? Can you bluetooth the pictures to your computer?
No matter what features TracFone add to their phones, they are still basically nothing more than simple cell phons. The Bluetooth Motorola W370g TracFone I just purchased will not "pair" with my 2007 Toyota. Try as it can, the Toyota Bluetooth can not find the phone. I also tried pairing it with my Bluetooth computer, again without success. So what is the point of having a cell phone with a camera and Bluetooth but without the capabilities of being compatable? I feel ripped off.
It appears that Tracfone has partially disabled the Bluetooth so it will only work with a headset. I think there will be some hacks available soon to allow you to pair your phone with your computer. Tracfone is trying to force you to use the minutes to transfer pictures to your computer. If they would just realize that the more usefull they make their phone the more minutes will be used.
I purchased a W376g on 7/18/08. It works fine so-far including successfully pairing it with my 2004 Prius.
You are the first person I have heard that has been able to get their W376 to pair with anything but a headphone. Any clues as to how you did it?
Data transfer....Why does my W376 have a camera if I cannot download the pictures from my phone? I dont see a data port and it did not come with any data transfer cable or anything just a battery charger. Seems a huge waste of a nice phone to have its features disabled if that is what is going on? What can I do about it?
Some people have been able to get the phone to synch Blutooth with their cars. I have heard of other people who have been able to get it to synch with some other phones. Currently I have not heard of anyone who has been able to get their phone to synch with their computer to download pictures. Disabling any feature of a phone is stupid in my book but many cell companies do it.
can this fone use real tones or is it only compatible with polyphonic cuz when i was looking for ringtones using the fones browser it had the option to search for polyphonic or realtones also if anyone knows of any bluetooth or usb hacks for this fone plz post also where can i find the black version of this fones housing so i can swap them out.

I've gotten it to pair with my computer and a Belkin F8T012 usb bluetooth dongle... However I haven't gotten it to do anything afterwards... It's just "there"...
I paired my w376g with my Garmin (nuva) it was easy,turn on your gps&go to features on the phone,scroll to bluetooth& the gps will find it,it works great
I was able to bluetooth my MacBook but t told me that there are no services to com=nnect to. Sad.
I called TracFone technical service last night and the dude (in India I think) told me it would be no problem buying any bluetooth phone from anywhere and having my current tracfone minutes/stored numbers moved to the new phone. Is this correct info. Some of the phones offered here and there do not come with sim cards. If not, can I use the one from current phone or get one from Tracfone that will work and still preserve my minutes and stored numbers?
Tracfone service will only work with Tracfone phones. You cannot move the SIM card from a GSM Tracfone phone to any other phone and get it to work. Once a Tracfone and SIM card have been activated you can only use that sim card with that exact Tracfone.
The Tracfone software installed in their phones is specific to the way their phones work and roam.
My Tracfone just got damaged in an accident. The screen is broken but the rest of the phone seems to be OK - including SIM card.
Now they are telling me there is NO WAY to get ALL MY CONTACT DATA off the SIM CARD!!!!! I have my whole life on that SIM card. EVERY OTHER CELL PHONE OUT THERE you can retreive data from a SIM card.
I am going to sign up with a REAL cell phone company now. I am SO ANGRY that TracFone has caused me to lose all my data -- If I had known this, I would have kept a written copy of all my numbers.

I have been using Tracfone for about 6 years but only to communicate with my son when one of us is away from a land line. I only use a few minutes a month so my phone is accumulating minutes, even though I only buy 60 minutes every three months. It is a great bargain for how I use it. Even though I pay .30 per minute, it actually only costs me about 6.50 per month.
I just bought the W376g because my C139 is a piece of crap and I want the double minutes for life (might use it more, may even dump my land line, at .15 per minute). I got the W376g instead of the W260g for the camera and Bluetooth. So, for $10 extra I got a crappy camera for emergencies and Bluetooth I'll probably never use. I was mildly disappointed to find out that I must mail my pictures, at a cost, but I don't plan to use it except when I need a picture and I don't have my good camera with me.
All told, I got what I wanted. However, I think it's reasonable to expect a USB port to work like a USB port and Bluetooth to work like Bluetooth. I think complaints that these features are crippled a perfectly legitmate.
Message to Tracfone: I'm thinking of dumping my land line and going 100% wireless. I have been very happy with tracfone so far. However, now that I'm thinking of playing the big game, I will probably switch to a company that doesn't cripple thier phones.

You can purchase a sim card reader for under $20 and probably get all your info off the SIM card.

Verizon disables a lot of their phones features also. I don't understand why they don't realize that moving the free line like most marketers in the new world do is what creates raving customers. One raving happy customer is worth 1000 happy customers.
dudes, for reading sim cards, Radio Shack has a card reader that will read sim cards, I haven't bought one yet, but they do have them
Hey my w376 has a sim app. It gives you RANDOM codes to put into it. I think their just trying to get people to use up all their trys so they cant unlock their phones.then their cell will lock them out from doing it.messed up huh
I just bought a motosola w376 g track phon for tacking pictures when I dont have my camera and I did it because it seemed lie it would be easy with a usb jack and blue tooth option I think yhey should be sued for false advertising after all I cant even figure out how to Email them to my computer the bastards!!!
I agree I just bought the new camera/bluetooth cellphone, my browser isn't working but it still takes .50 off everytime i try it, so i called Tracfone, some indian guy i swear this guy needs english lessons kept telling me to try the browser! Each time same msg came you.."you are not authorized to us this, please so to tracfone.com on your phone to regester.....um wtf! It wouldn't let me in the damn browser anyways! SO now after waisting my precious minutes because they wanted to try to get it to work, my mins are being waisted away. And when i told them i was upset that it was taking away at my minutes, all they said is..."it will do that"
