Track Which AdSense Revenue Comes From Your Hubpages
55
We all know that hubpages in not the only place where you place your AdSense code. We know also that it's takes time to build good and informative hubs.
Even if you love to write hubs , by the end of the day most of us are here for the money (and little more).
The problem is that you want to know how much did your hubs earn for you, but if you look at Google AdSense reports it's shows in one line.
The Solution is called: URL Channels, and it's build feature inside the AdSense control panel.
URL channels allow to you track how much money did you earn from specific website. In contrary to custom channels you don't to put any special tracking code inside you AdSense code.
Because Hubpages platform does not allow us to change the AdSense code, then URL channels is our perfect solution.
You can find more here about the difference between custom channels and URL channels.
I know that many wrote about this subject before me, but I want to correct some mistakes.
- When you set your URL channel only use the main domain "hubpages.com"
adding tracking or any other character will cause that your AdSense URL channel will not work in some cases.
- You can't use custom channels with hubpages.com. Custom channel need to inserted inside the AdSense code and hubpages platform does not enable this.
- You can't know find out which ads or hubs earn you the money. This common issue on all website and not only on hubpages.
If you own a self hosted website then you can use some 3rd party tracking software.
My recommendation:
Use URL Channel right form the day one, Google will not filter you, your previous reports.
PrintShare it! — Rate it: up down flag this hub

Good information. Will it defferenciate my earnings from hub A and hub B? We all need to know how each hub is doing so that we can know where to make changes.
