Tracking Google AdSense on HubPages

Google Analytics (GA) allows you to track traffic but if you want to track adsense you can't do it with GA so I just have discovered that I can do so with Adsense itself. For those who are like me I put it here from the FAQs :)

The easiest way to keep track of your Adsense earnings on HubPages is to create a channel URL in your Google Adsense account. This will allow you to seperate your HubPages earnings from your other sites.

1. Log in to your account at https://www.google.com/adsense

2. Click the Channels link below the AdSense Setup tab.

3. Choose the AdSense for content sub-tab and click the URL Channels link

4. Click Add new URL channel, and in the resulting text box, enter the URL that you would like to track.

5. Click Add channels.

I discovered the same thing--at analytics all I saw was zeros. Since adding specific channel URL's, now when someone clicks on an add, it shows under "top channels."

Thanks for the information. I'd been wondering how to add adsense tracking since the normal adsense channels can't be added in the hubpages administration.

Have you had any issues segregating your hubpages adsense revenue from a main page?

In spite of clicks noted in the specific hub URL channels, I still get 0 for the page eCPM on my hubs, while that number is much higher for my main website (that also has adsense)

I'm not sure I fully understand the adsense and how it works. I have adsense and I have it linked with my hubpages. Is that all I have to do? What about the whole copy and paste the source code stuff that Google tells me I have to do. Do I not have to do that? I'm still new here but would like to get this up and running as soon as possible. Any info would be greatly appreciated as I am not technologically inclined.
