You've made the decision to work at home ("WAH"), to take charge of your life and to be an entrepreneur. It may even be that you are a mother who has decided to give up pulling herself in all directions and to work from home to try and lessen, in part, some of the stresses that you face every day.

 The internet has brought the world to your doorstep. Markets and people are just a mere click away. Search engines can help you find whatever you are looking for but that is only part of the journey. You are on an outward bound journey, searching for information, products, links, buyers, sellers, partners... To get your business out there and in the sights of the millions (if not billions) of other people who are on their outward journey searching for you and your business you need to be visible. You need to be found. Inward traffic is your aim.

 A blog or website is great to have and you can happily while away many hours setting it up, getting it live and ready for the world to arrive. Eventually though, you will need the visitors to start arriving.

  Building traffic to your site, blog or hubs will take some effort on your part. There really is no magic formula to input and magically bring hoardes of visitors.

  First, you obviously need the landing page be it a site, blog, hub, lens or whatever. Without having the content ready for the visitors there is no point having visitors!

  Tell your friends, family and anyone else who will listen about your site.

  Add the details to your email signature.

  Join forums related to your niche or keywords. Leave interesting and varied comments.

  Write articles and post them to sites like Ezine@rticles. You can write about your niche and promote yourself and your site in your resource box.

  Viral marketing - create a resource either an original of your own or through the use of PLR. Put your links in the resource.

  Advertise using Adsense.
