Traffic is relatively easy, you find a pool of people, get their attention, give them a little bit of a sneak peek of something they want and leave them hanging for the full solution, leading them to the final destination, your website in this case.

So it's not much harder than that when you think about it, literally. FInd out what people want, give them pieces of what they want, but don't be boring or "not revealing enough" so they leave and provide the full solution on your website. That's a 3-step system you can always use to gain more visitors on the internet, but in the following 3 capsules I will expose the top 3 favorite methods I use to do this successfully!

One of the best traffic promotion methods I know is article marketing, because it' generally fast, easy and leaves you with many benefits. When you submit an article, not only do you get the opporunity to attract some immediate traffic from that article as long as its listed on article directories newly submitted articles, as well as "new or popular".

But when you article is removed from these lists it can also rank high on Google for example. Or it might not rank high in Google, either way, you gain at least one high authority backlink from that article. Backlinks is the bread and butter of SEO (search engine optimization) which basically means, strategically optimize your website for a specific keyword to rank high in search engines. And when you submit and article that is optimized for the search enginses you will often times find that article going live, and a few weeks later be counted as a backlink to your website.

The second of my favorite strategies for attracting new hot traffic is video marketing. The reason I like it so much is the instant bond that it creates when you speak in front of your visitors. It allows your visitors to connect with you in a good way, fast! Many people use only video for their traffic needs and are driving millions of visitors each year doing this.

I'm a big fan of YouTube. I use it all the time. I've got close to 1,000 vidoes posted, many accounts removed and many videos that are still up, live and kicking today! It's been a real blessing to have been able to use video to my advantage. It's one of the strategies that for me have created the most long-time and constant traffic.

It's reliable, if you stick to the rules and don't get your accounts banned that is. Your video will always be up and it's a lot more interesting for a majority of the population to watch a short 2-3 minute video than it is to read long paragraphs of text... So really consider using this method as one of your big methods of traffic promotion!

If you haven't heard of the phenomena called social media you are a little bit behind, but that's OK, we all start out one day not knowing what things mean. Well, social media kind of means "the social news" if you will. The people are creating the news and driving the traffic, voting and sharing what is interesting.

If you can get active on the biggest social media sites like...

• Twitter

...you will have an increase circle of influence, thus a larger circle of potential traffic you can reach. If your content goes viral on one of these sites you are in for a BIG TREAT let me tell you that much! Hundreds of thousands of people will see your website and that is the biggest traffic potential there is. Social media is HUGE and is just growing by the second.

I'm very active on sites like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube simply because of the sheer volume of people on them! It's not hard to find 1 customer per day at these sites... So go get active now and help increase your social circle to land joint venture deals or other gig's.

Always remember that social media is just that, social media. It's a social game so do not spam this place with your links. Instead build a group following that likes you and will help you promote your business because they like you and your content. That's KEY! Be social, valuable, engaging... Never stop your activity and be sure to automate in a smart way if at all!
