It probably is safe to say that most online business owners find the task of getting their first 100 pieces of content out on the internet a bit over-whelming. Especially if you have young children or are working long hours. But what if you could take each piece of content you create and make it into many pieces? What if you could take that one article you spent allot of thought on and have that content turned into many formats and from there spread all over the internet? You can.

Do More With Less

Using smart and efficient online marketing tactics will bring you results by using some or all of the following methods. These methods can be mixed up and re-ordered any way you want to. I will use a specific way as an example.

If you are building your own mailing list with a service like Aweber, Get Response, I contact, or any number of the services out there what you can do is invest in a service such as Boy Audio or Audio Acrobat for around twenty bucks a month. You could bypass this by creating a video instead, or do both.

You record a tip or value-based message once a week and mail it out to your list. This is much more powerful than just sending out a text only e-mail. This can be done by using Audio Acrobat or a You Tube video and include the link. (You could choose to have an audio or a video link in each e-mail you do if you have the time)

The cool thing you can do if you use an audio service is you can take that audio that you e-mail out to your list and turn it into a Podcast. Use a submission service and get your podcast out to hundreds of sites.

With your video you can upload it to many video sites all at once using a service. Some are paid and one that is free is Tube Mogul. A great feature of tube mogul is they have a graph you just move your mouse on and it will tell you how many views your video received at each site giving you an idea if some changes need to be made with keywords or content.

Having the ability to to track your videos will increase your knowledge of what is working and increase your traffic flow. Anytime you create a new video, article, or audio you can send it out to those who follow you on Twitter, if you choose.

Using Your Article Again

Another way to get more bang for your time is go back to your original article and change the title, the keywords, and the text around. You may wish to alter the message entirely. Then use that article and post it on other sites, or another blog you may have, or all of the above.

Social Bookmarking

By signing up at a few social bookmarking sites, you can bookmark the various forms of your original content on different site, never using the same site for the one piece of content that you turned into several. It's just one way of generating your own leads vs. buying leads.

These are just some of the simpler ways to re-purpose your content and increase your website traffic. There are more and will continue to be more as new tools continue to arrive on the scene and make it easier to earn a living online.
