Non-clinical health care professionals have minimal interaction with patients, if any at all. Non-Clinical Health Care professionals work "behind the scenes." They do not offer any type of patient care. Health Information Management is not limited to these listed professions. Out of these professions, Medical Transcription and Medical Coding can be performed at home. You will be required to receive training for these professions. Most companies that hire coders require them to have experience, along with some transcription companies. Okay, I'm interested what now? What can I expect? You can expect a rigorous course that will train you extremely well. The course is very affordable and possibly under priced in comparison to the knowledge you'll gain upon completion of your course. Expect to invest a year or more for training. You can complete the course sooner if possible. Training time is based upon the amount of time you put into studying at home.
