Transformers Animated Jazz - 2009 Toys

2009 certainly is a big year for Animated Transformers, and Transformers Animated Jazz Toys are non only among the most popular in the toy collections, but are possibly the most entertaining of the entire line.

Why?

Jazz is cooooool. I mean cool. He's a smooth talking, smooth and fast driving Animated Autobot Transformer that could scare the pants off almost any Decepticon out there. =)

He's truly a force to be reckoned with, and everything he does is with a rather quiet confidence.

The first of the Transformers Animated Jazz Toys to mention are the Deluxe Figures.

These transform from vehicle mode to robot mode fairly easily, and are apparently the most popular of the bunch.

As a robot, Jazz uses nunchuks as his weapons - which when transformed into vehicle mode become part of the car (the exhaust pipes).

The Animated Jazz Bumper Battler toys are a good toy for any age of Transformers fans due to it's entertainment value (it talks and has some pretty cool sayings).  But my favorite thing about this particular toy is that it is also an excellent version of Jazz for very young kids.

It "transforms" quite easily - here's what happens:  When something bumps the bumper on the front of the car (when in vehicle mode) it pops up Jazz out of the car and it at that point can technically be "in robot mode".  It doesn't have excess pieces to get lost, etc.

This would be considered a boring toy for someone who was expecting a challenge, but for young kids or for those just looking for the entertainment value of Jazz, this is an excellent choice.
