Synopsis
The interstellar battle between the Autobots and Decepticons rains destruction down on planet Earth as director Michael Bay adapts Hasbro and Takara's popular Transformers franchise into a big-budget, live-action summer tentpole extravaganza in this ambitious sci-fi action feature starring Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Bernie Mac, John Turturro, Jon Voight, and, of course, Optimus Prime and Megatron. Enormous aliens have chosen the third rock from the sun as their ultimate battleground, and as the villainous Decepticons struggle to obtain the key to unlimited power, a young Earthling named Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) may stand as mankind's last hope for survival.

My Review
Let me first start by saying that I am really not into action movies with lots of special effects. I really enjoyed this movie. This movie was filled with really great actors (good looking too!) that made the movie all the more worthwhile. There are some beautiful cars in this movie as well.
What I particularly liked about the film is that it seemed real to me. Don't stop reading because you think I'm crazy...I thought that if that were a real life situation it would have looked like that. The special effects were very believable.
I highly recommend catching this one in the movie theater. It is great to see it on the big screen. The transformers seem all the more real to you then. If you want to wait for it to come out on DVD...that's good too, either way it's a must see!
