Translate some foriegn words

I have recently got into the hobby of language translation.. Well I thought I was getting into a new language, what I found out was that learning a new language is a difficult endeavor. I chose spanish first and could not keep up with it, Then I looked at German and couldnt roll my r's good enough. Portuguese is impossible and Chinese is not a language that will even registar in my limited brain. So I stick to the travel dictionaries and phrase books in any travels or interaction with those that do not speak my language, or should I say those that I do not speak theirs.
