Cherry Blossom Festival

The Sakura blossom, pure, noble and charming that indicating the welcome of spring to Japan. Normally, japan government will set annually 15 March to 15 April as "Sakura Festival". In this season, the citizen of japan will take their friend, family and even relativies together with campagn, food sat under the sakura tree to watch the sakura flower dropping from tree. The sakura flower will drop like snow from the tree to ground like it shown at the picture below.

Sakura flower among the Japan culture have a thousand years of history. Starting from Nara era to Edo era (710-1867). Althought is has the thousand years influece, the flower has the very short life. It reseverd as the national flower of Japan, not because it is charming but it has the short-lived heroic life. It snow like manner also a symbol of japanese Bushido gorgeous and brief period of aestheties

Every spring, Hanam (Sight seeing the sakura flower) is the important activity, Japan's southernmost Okinawa is one of the first places to see cherry blossoms (Sakura). Part-cho, Okinawa, eight re-take the cherry blossom viewing spots are the most important one. Each year more than 7000 cherry trees, opening up competition to attract huge crowds of visitors.
