Belive it or not cruises can be some of the cheapest exotic getaways, ever.

Absolutely, beaches and lakes are the best budget travel destinations for a family that doesn't want to go to far away from home, beacause usually the further you go the more you spend.

One of my favorite beaches in California is Huntington Beach in Orange County.

This is an upscale beach, where you'll find thousands of people walking the piere in their swimsuits. Allot of the ladies don't mind wearing their G-string on the beach. So if you're going there with your wife or girlfriend make suer you don't forget your sun glasses, unless you like it when your girl kicks your ass everytime you walk by someone.

Upscale and all, they have great restaurants and gift shops that will make your day enjoyable. The most expensive thing about going there, I would have to say is the gasoline that you'll have to buy for your car, but you can get out of it with minimal damag, because you can stay at a motel just 5 minutes away from the beach for about $35 and just pay for the food.

You will most likely spend $300-$400 on the entire trip and have the time of your life. You'll feel like you're in the TV series "orange County" it's great.

Don't make me laugh...

The most expensive thing in Vegas is how much money you'll LOSE in the casinos. If you can stay away from casino gambling and enjoy Vegas for what it is, you shouldn't spend more than $500 on your entire trip, if you live in the West Coast.

Ten minutes away from the Strip are hotels and motels with full service that won't charge you $300-400 for a nite but for the same ammount you can stay for 3 days and nights. No B.S.

Again gasoline will be the most expensive thing in your trip.

But you and your significant other will have a blast and enjoy life once again in an upper class vacation without paying for it trough your nose.
