A few weeks back i decided to test travian,which was familiar to me thanks to thye extensive advertisements in google adwords.I was previously a fan of the famous age of empires and the age of mythology series...so a multiplayer strategy online game was always made for me.

The sign up was easy and simple.

The first choice i had to make was the tribe i belonged to.The choice were Romans,Gauls and Teutons.Now this is very tricky.The choice here can make or break your Travian life forever.

So here is the simple analysis

                  Romans-They are good attackers.Not exceptional defenders.carry less resources.they are expensive to keep too.

                   Gauls-Brilliant defenders.carry more resources and the army is cheap.

                    Teutons-The best attackers.Vigorous army.But difficult to keep,maintain and costly.

My choice was Gauls.Without a good defence there is no point in having a great attack.A roman army will cost a fortune to raise and maintain.The army can be wiped out in one second.So gauls being the gritty down to earth,but eficient troops and cheap labour wins my vote.

If  you dont prefer gauls you can go for the more glamorous Romans.

Now its the time of building our empire.
