Countless times many people planning their wedding decide to run to any bridal store for the typical Bridesmaids dress. There are some nice ones out there but lets face it, your bridal party goes for alot of money only to wear the dress once and we normally have to wear those awful dyeable shoes! I am speaking for all Bridesmaids- PLEASE do not continue this tradition! I am going to show concepts for Bridemaids dresses that your party will love and want to wear again and again. They can be worn in your wedding as well as a special occassion in your bridemaids life whether it can be a guest of a wedding in the future or their very own engagment party. Color is probably the hardest decision to make. I would first go to a local department store, such as, Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, Ann Taylor and see if something catches your eye. The department stores are MORE FOR YOUR AGE then a regular bridal store. Bridal stores are based soley on tradition which makes you come across more older then you are. I say stand out from the rest and not stick with the heavy, uncomfortable wire dresses that the majority of stores supply you with. It will also save time not having to get dresses sized if you just fall in love with one in a department store. It maybe hard to get the same dress for everyone in a department store but thats the BEST part. I will also show you that mixing and matching dresses is a very stylish trend nowadays!
