Trials & Triumphs
55Growth
"People have the propensity to do mean, mindless, irrational, irresponsible & unloving things. Rather than asking why, ask....how can I use this for my own growth."
After reading this and thinking about the many trials I have endured I realize that everything I went through was no mistake and I have grown and now have the victory.
I've been away from writing here since last September and my life has changed so much, and I am happy for the better. I've survived being unemployed, breaking up and moving away from a man I loved dearly, many deaths, complete altered lifestyle, dreams deferred and a sense of hopeless. The many highs and lows have brought me to a place in my life that I will call a peaceful place. I'm lovin me in a deeply passionate and respectful way. I am enjoying my life and can reflect back over the year and see how wonderfully & fearlessly I have grown.
I am very humbled by how God has shown me things, and taught me to remain still even when I wanted to jump off a cliff. I know God wants me to share my experience, strength, and hope with others to help them live better and to have a joyful happy walk in their lives. I am exploring avenues in which I can share positivity.
I believe if you help someone you are demonstrating God's love..."we are all here in this life to help each other grow into our greatness." If we all made an effort to smile or say hello to another person in passing on the street, instead of bumping them and moving on as if they were never there, then quite possibly we could be helping to enrich the day of another. That's powerful to think we can all save each other.
I have learned throughout some very painful experiences that I have the power to reshape and redefine any experience, no matter how devastating it seems. I have chosen to take off the cloak of victimization, and now I look at my experience and think, Holy Spirit show me how I can use it for something good.
