In the beginningyou should work on your resources and Troops. But before you start working on Troops. You should build you Resources up. The 3 Resources are Wood,Iron, and Clay. The higher these are the faster you can gather resources. If you are not playing on a "Speed Round"

The Resources will be gatherd by hours. This does not mean you have to wait an hour for you resources to go up. If you go to your "Village OverView" and click on one of the Resources. It will tell you how much resorces you will gather an hour. If you watch your resources you will see if there going up. And they always will.

Dipending on your world, your village could start off differnt ways. some you start off as level 10 Resources but some times you have to build them.

Once you have a good base production of Resources you should start buidling up your troops. Once you get the ability to start building your smithy i advice you to. Start building up your smithy and Head Quaters. once you get them to level 20 and you have your market up to 10 you can build an Academy. The Academy produces Noblemen that help take over other villages.
