TrimSlim - Control Hormones To Lose Weight?

My Initial Impression of TrimSlim
TrimSlim is so named because of the two products that have apparently not done so well on their own and so they’ve been combined in order to boost sales. TrimSpa and CortiSlim are now TrimSlim. TrimSlim used to contain Hoodia and CortiSlim was a product that was marketed to control the effects of cortisol in the body. So, in other words TrimSlim is supposed to be an appetite suppressant that might help control hormone levels in the body.
It’s not new information, but I’m going to give it anyway, cortisol is overproduced when you undergo stress and that can effect hormone levels, which may decrease the body’s ability to efficiently metabolize food. The advertising for TrimSlim makes the claim that elevated cortisol in the body also increases hunger and cravings, throws blood sugar levels off, and causes the body to store excess fat. I contend, and I’m certainly not alone in this, that the highly processed foods laden with fats and sugars that are typical of the American diet have more to do with blood sugar levels than anything else does.
TrimSlim Ingredients & What the Manufacturer Says They Will Do
TrimSlim contains some of the following ingredients, Chromium, Green Tea, Bitter Orange, Magnolia Bark, Beta Sitasterol, Cocoa, L-Thianine, Hoodia, Banaba, Vanadium, Fibersol-2, Glucomannan, Sodiumcarboxy methylcellulose and Calcium.
The manufacturer doesn’t claim a whole lot for the ingredients themselves and so I’ve had to rely on some of my preferred herbal lexicons to ascertain what the product could possibly do for weight loss. Bitter Orange has been used by eastern cultures for centuries to treat a variety of health disorders. Today bitter orange teas, tinctures, and extracts are still used in connection with gastrointestinal disorders, insomnia, headaches, and obesity. Homeopathic practitioners commonly use both the peel and the flower to remedy both headaches and pain. There is some evidence that the herb may stimulate metabolic rate, which may increase calorie burning in the body. Some recommend that the herb be used with St. John's Wort and caffeine to experience the full effect for increased metabolism. But for every recommendation like that there are several more that warn against combining bitter orange with caffeine due to the possible over-stimulation to the central nervous system.
Hoodia is in the ingredient list for TrimSlim, but the manufacturer doesn’t support the ingredient with a certificate of authentication and so I’m doubtful the ingredient can deliver the potent appetite suppression of pure Hoodia Gordonii.
The Main Drawbacks to TrimSlim
The problem I have with TrimSlim is the manufacturer uses caffeine and cocoa in combination with bitter orange. I’m inclined to believe what professionals warn about the negative effects on the body.
Would I try TrimSlim?
If I were looking for a weight loss supplement I wouldn’t purchase one that contained caffeine as TrimSlim does, however, there are some ingredients in the formula that I might be inclined to use.
