"Trivial Pursuit" Or "What Is This Game You Play?"
65When I was assigned to write about games I never really thought anyone would be interested. Then I wrote one hub on a game as an experiment. You read it. So I thought I would do one more on a more popular game: Trivial Pursuit. I remember playing this game with other teens in my Youth Fellowship group.
(Yeah, I know, while other guys my age were out trying to figure out ways to feel up their female classmates I was being asked stupid questions by cute girls who read the Bible and were not Catholic. Now had they been Catholic girls things might have gotten more interesting. . .but, I digress. . .)

A packet of questions from Trivial Pursuit” -- Chumbawamba

Question:
What popular board game about general knowledge and pop culture was
created by a trio of Canadians? Answer: Trivial Pursuit. Everyone's
heard of it but what are the rules?
To understand the rules it
might be helpful to describe the board itself.
It has colored squares
arranged in a six-spoked wheel. There is one particular square for each
of the colors at the connection of the wheel.
All players must
begin in the hub of the wheel. Each player must roll the die and move
their piece the number of spaces signified on the die. Another player
must then draw one of the supplied trivia cards and ask the rolling
player a questions from the card that corresponds to the color upon
which the first person landed.
Should the player give the
correct answer, the player rolls again. If the square upon which the
rolling player has landed is a special square at the intersection, the
player gets a "cheese" or "scoring wedge" that matches the color of the
square. Should the player give the wrong answer, it becomes the next
players turn.
Each player moves around the board and answers
questions until someone has earned pies of all six colors. The player
with all the pies moves his/her piece back to the hub. Now the other
players must choose a single color and read questions from that
particular category. The player at the hub is required to answer the
final question correctly in order to win.
Should the player get the answer wrong, the game moves on until the player with all six color pies, or another one with all six, moves to the hub square and answers a final question correctly. The rules also state that the game may be played by individual players or in teams. In fact, since the recent creation of the television show, it might be very important to know the rules as the game is once again enjoying popularity.
Now you know how to play Trivial Pursuit. if you found this piece too "trivial" just tell me. I can take it. There's no need to play games.
My name is Phoenix and . . . that's the bottom line.

I meant to say thanks for the comment, but I am just not a "social animal" especially since I don't presently have a full-time job and am trying to get by with just the writing income! Oh well, life goes on. . .I hope. . .
I like to play Trivial Pursuit. It is fun and educational (for your general knowledge!).
Hi!
Thanks for your comment!
