Trust Guard Security Seals- Their Importance

Why are ecommerce businesses such a success? It’s all because of the millions of targeted buyers or internet surfers! New to the online market? How do you get a big chunk of the market to establish your business? A trusted seal’s often enough to help do the trick!

An online report on shopper behavior reported that around 8 million people spend many days window shopping before actually buying anything! This is as a result of the fear in the minds of the buyers since the internet nowadays is home to lots of hackers and spammers and virus-laden websites. Buyers online normally compare services and products with other websites before choosing which one to buy from. This is why online businesses should aim to make good impressions on online customers in order to have a secure place on their carts.

Online shoppers are well assured at the authenticity of the products you sell when they see your trust seal which also ensure safe shopping via websites. Having a third party to legitimize your online business helps you gain confidence and also trust as a result of which more buyers are attracted to the website. Trust seals give your website a positive seal which is what buyers look for when they’re out to buy their best deal.

To address credit card queries, security seals and other personal data is supposed to be typed in by the prospective buyer. This is a very common kind of verification method. Site Verification and Server Verification are the two types of methods used. Verification of the server scans the host server daily to check for virus attacks and keeps it free of viruses thanks to Control Scan and McAfee Secure. Verification of website services makes sure the website is secure from hackers and that buyers can buy the products under legitimate circumstances. Both are equally efficient!

A third party seal just increases sales due to increased customer confident in the product being bought. A better conversion rate and a better trust level are required for online merchants wanting to have the three types of seals for their business.

I completely agree about trust seals. I will never buy on a site that does not have a trust seal, there are just too many risks these days when shopping online and I will definitely take any precautions that I can. Thanks for sharing!
