Tucker Max is a liar.

But we are not going to talk about that today. The point of this post is to discuss Tucker Max and his rise to fame and how he became so famous.

According to Tucker Max he graduated from Duke Law without actually ever attending any classes or buying any text books. He did graduate from Duke Law but never actually took the bar exam because he didn't actually want to become a lawyer. He thought it would be wiser to become a starving artist than to be a rich lawyer.

Tucker Max than moved from Chicago to Florida, sleeping with anything that was warm and stealing from anyone with money.  All things that he has openly discussed in his stories.

In Florida he was working for his father at Max's Grill.  It is there in Florida where he met Miss. Vermont and from there was where his career actually florished.

You see he wasn't famous for sleeping with Miss. Vermont, he was famous for actually getting sued by her.  It was not the actual facts of the lawsuit that made Tucker Max famous but more the fact that it was against his rights of Free Speech and the fact that the ACLU stepped in also helped his case.

This is where the traffic to his website and message boards jumped, from a small following of just his friends, Tucker Max all of a sudden had a nation wide platform to spew his lies from.

If you don't know Tucker Max has also written a book called "I hope they serve beer in hell."

This book is nothing more than actual stories from his site, the only difference is that there are about an extra 6 stories that were never before seen on Tucker Max's site.

If you actually go to the site and check the date stamp of his last story it is more than 2 years old.

Tucker Max has decided it would be better to write books and sell his "art", than to share it with the people that have made him famous.

Tucker Max has a movie being released on September 25th, the fact that the movie has no decent distribution deal in place and is being made as an indie doesn't give me the greatest confidence in this movie.

I wont say anything more about the actual movie until I see it.
