Tufted Headboards are Only One Option
Getting a good night of sleep is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. Beyond getting a great mattress, like memory foam, what more can you do? How about selecting the right headboard for your room? Would you sleep better knowing you were being efficient, making good use of the space in your room, all while making it look great?
By getting a good bedroom set (or by mixing and matching different nightstands and dressers with your bed frame) you can have a unique look. For children, there are bunk beds and twin beds. They are usually fine about having a plain wooden headboard. Now, you can either go out and buy one (they’re pretty cheap, considering they’re made of composite wood and not very intricately designed), or you can build the frames yourself. There are many different plans available for to be downloaded online. You will find that installing one isn’t as hard as you’d think. If you have a girl you should consider the elegant flowing canopy style beds. For students, a captain style or loft bed is especially nice, due to the fact that you can store a bookcase, desk, and futon underneath. They can come in twin, full, queen, king, and California King Sizes.
For adults, think about a sleigh style frame. They have beautiful curves and can be either metallic (iron, black or white colored) or wooden (coming in a great variety of woods, from cherry or pine to oak or maple). If you don’t want something as showy, you still have the option of getting a regular headboard with a slight decoration, like a padded leather headboard or upholstered and tufted. Another option is to get a platform style, which is just slightly raised up and makes a nice extra touch without drawing any unwanted attention. In addition to that, a daybed makes an excellent sleeper for extra rooms that aren’t occupied by any permanent residents.
