Tummy Tuck Or Liposuction
Thinking about getting some cosmetic surgery in order to get back that physique that you had back in the day? But wondering whether or not liposuction vs tummy tuck is better for you.
When you are making that decision as to whether tummy liposuction works for you or tummy tucks work depends on you.
As far as a tummy tuck, this procedure is known as abdominoplasty. What a tummy tuck does is remove excess fat and skin from your mid section area. What a tumy tuck can do is restore weakened or even separated muscles, and help create a abdominal set that is smoother and much firmer.
Now, coming up to liposuction. What is the definition of liposuction?
Liposuction is known as lipoplasty. What liposuction does is slim and reshape very specific areas. This is done by removing excess fatty deposits. This includes giving you better shaping and contours.
So, the question is what to pick...tummy tuck vs liposuction...which is better? When you are looking to improve your abdominal areas, sometimes even if yo udiet and you exercise, you may need a little boost for help.
Sometimes it's the loose skin and belly fat taht is the most stubborn. How to deal with these problems areas are sometime complelely hard to deal with without any help. And, even in some instances, you may have loose or stretched skin, that has absolutely nothing to do with diet or exercise. How do you deal with that?
At this point, you may want to consider plastic surgery. Now, the debate starts as to which type of cosmetic sugery...do you use stomach liposuction or tummy tucks? Let's continue to look into the differences between the two.
Here is the difference between liposuction and tummy tucks. Liposuction is involved with removing fatty pockets and other fat areas on the body. this is in order to help with body sculpting. This is not a method for weight loss, but just for helping for when you have tried exercise and diet and nothing works.
Now, a tummy tuck deals with excess skin..When you have loose skin, which can be a result of rapid weight loss you have skin that hangs. So, when you have this skin, many people feel unattractive. In this situation, a great solution is tummy tuck.
Additonally, tummy tucks versus liposuction vary in the procedure involved. When you are dealing with liposuction, an area is filled with fluid, then the area is sucked out with the fat and fluid being removed. When you are dealing with a tummy tuck, what happens is a rather wide cut is made in the pubic area, and then the skin gets separated from the muscles. Sometiems the muscles are tightened, but in general, the extra skin is cut off and then a new hole is made to replace your original belly button.
When it comes to healing, and time, stomach liposuction vs tummy tuck is very different. When you have liposuction, it is out patient procedures. Usually general anethietics are used, and relatively quickly, you can get back to regular activities. Now, if you have a tummy tuck, that is seen as major surgery, so the healing time is much longer becasue you need to let the stiches and all the incisions heal. The time for healing will also be longer if you have muscles tightned.
So when you are considering tummy tuck vs liposuction, you need to know waht you are trying to acheive. Either you need to tighten loose skin, or you have fatty deposits to remove.
