Tupac Shakur

Tupac Shakur (Tupac Amaru Shakur) was a popular American rapper. He was also known by his stage names 2Pac, or simply Pac, and Makaveli.

Tupac Shakur was born on June 16, 1971 as Lesane Parish Crooks. His parents were Alice Faye Williams (also known as Afeni Shakur) and Billy Garland. Alice Faye later married Mutulu Shakur, who became his son's stepfather.

Tupac Shakur was a victim of a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996 and he died from his gunshot wounds seven days later.

He has sold more than 75 million albums to date and is considered as one of the best-selling music artists in the world.
