The Turbo Snake is an As Seen On TV Product I absolutely love. I know it's just a drain snake but it solves so many problems. If you are like me, you don't really know how to unclog a sink the right way and you end pulling your own hair out when all you really need to do is pull the hair out of your clogged sink.

I really believe the Turbo Snake is the best drain cleaner for shower clogs, bath clogs and of course clogged sinks but I may be missing the obvious. So before I insist using Turbo Snake is how to unclog a sink and it's the best drain cleaner in general, let's dive in a little deeper.

First I will say that I did buy the Turbo Snake not only because I love doing as seen on TV product reviews but because I often have a slow drain.  My shower clogs quite a bit and well, it's just gross. I've been looking for the best drain cleaner for a few years and I can assure you it is not a bent coat hanger, nor is it some smelly liquid drain cleaner.

Cleaning drains is never easy, well until now, and I'm always the guy who can't get my drain plug to sit right after I've torn apart the darn thing apart. Whether it's my shower clog, sink or sit down tub, I always ending having to call someone and it gets pricey.  There's nothing worse than calling in a plumber and watching him haul in a drain snake and clearing the clog in about two seconds. It always leaves me feeling like I should have been able to that myself.

So let's watch the Turbo Snake commercial and see this handy and personal little drain snake in action.

I know what you're saying, "Another As Seen On TV Product commercial, blah blah blah".  But I really think the turbo snake is different.  Just look under your sink right now. I bet you see a few chemicals which you poor down your sink at the first sign of trouble.

Everyone is worried about all this eco-friendly stuff and we have the chance to reduce our carbon footprint right here.  I have never had much luck with chemical products and there is no way the make the best drain cleaner anyway. For the most part, the liquid drain cleaners just pass right by the clog and do very little, if anything to fix it.   I suppose the idea is that the chemicals will somehow dissolve the shower clogs or whatever kind of disaster is down there but what chance do they really have?

The turbo snake just slides down the drain, a little twist so the drain snake can gather up the clog and then remove it. It's simple, safe and eco-friendly.  The best part is that it works!

My turbo snake review is that easy. Use it and you know how to unclog a sink.  No plumbers, no bills, no waiting, no toxins and no problem.  I imagine many plumbers and maintenance crews are using the turbo snake because they don't have to lug around a large electric drain snake that isn't really needed for most jobs these days.  These guys will still charge you a bundle but now we can have the drain snake they probably use when they show up to fix our shower clogs. Remember, these guys have to pay for their equipment too, so chances are they are going to buy Turbo Snake because only $10 and they get Two of them.

Now before I get too carried away, I should mention that I've really only referred to shower clogs above and the turbo snake really is the best drain cleaner for those, but when we order, we receive 2 sink snakes as well.  I never opened up my sink snakes when I needed to figure out how to unclog my sink, I just used the larger drain snake. But during my Review, I did open a sink snake and shove it down the drain to make sure it worked just like the larger one and it did. Or at least it felt like it did. I didn't really have any clogged drains to test it out on. I just wanted to make sure it held together and reached down the standard sink before I recommended it.  The shower drain snake is perfect for sinks on its own, but this is just the way for the companies to sweeten the as seen on tv deal!

But you know what, Don't just listen to my silly turbo snake review. I mean who am I? If you've read my other As Seen On TV hubs, you probably figure me for either a nut job, some guy with too much time on his hands, or an incurable insomniac with basic cable. So search around for other reviews or watch the Turbo Snake review I found on youtube. This guy gave the Turbo Snake 6 out of 6 stars (whatever that means) but he also noted that this little drain snake worked every time and Turbo Snake delivered on everything that was advertised. I'd say that's a pretty good review don't ya think?

One thing I did learn from the review was that Turbo Snake is marketed and used to unclog slow drains by removing hair. If there is something else causing your shower clogs or sink clogs it may not work because the snake needs something like hair to grasp onto. I'm not sure what else can cause shower clogs but chances are it will have some hair in it!

OK, so you might want to buy Turbo Snake. I'm thinking that's pretty wise but where do you get the best deal. As with all as seen on TV products there's always a deal. It's the "But Wait! I just took the standard deal which was the Large Turbo Snake from $10 and got Small Drain Snake with the hook. Of course I lost the hook because I left it on the kitchen counter and it vanished and to tell you the truth, I'm not sure if I paid $6.99 S&H but it sounds about right.  All in all it was a great deal for me because I'm pretty sure I will always need one of these.  After cleaning my drains with drain snakes there is no way I'm ever going to waste my time with a liquid cleaner again.
