Easy Turkey Burgers

If you are looking for a healthly replacement for ground beef patties, then this recipe was designed for you. Note: I love garlic, so this recipe like alot of my others has the great taste of garlic.

Get the charcoal ready, because these babies are great grilled.

What to buy:

  • 1lb of Ground Turkey (makes about 4 big burgers)
  • 1/4 cup Bread Crumbs - seasoned or plain - I like the spicy Cajun style
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Optional - a little Worcestershire sauce or BBQ sauce - season to taste

Making the patties:

  • Combine the above ingredients in a bowl and mix
  • Add more bread crumbs if needed to firm up patties

Cooking

  • Frying - Cook the patties over medium heat, flip once, make sure the internal temperature is 180 degrees F or above.
  • Grilling - Cook the patties over hot coals, flip once, make sure the internal temperature is 180 degrees F or above.
