Twilight Eyes

Twilight eyes are a moment in yearning.
Dark sets shadows creating sillouetes
as the orangish hued sun stops burning.
Guessing what will come is not of night's course.
Eve passes the torch to ignite the moon,
while waiting for morning to meet its source.
Silently crying we wish for a sight.
The wind howls a tune in remorseful rue
for the audience of stars shining bright.
Passing into a slumber, we forget.
The night owl is awake however
not seeing the day with night onset.
Yearning turns ambition for dawn's course.
With a grand entrance painting the dark sky,
comes old sol over head with its great force.
Eyes and sight travel in line to say
day light is not knowing of one's wishes prior
as light is consitent in every way.
Think not oh twilight eyes your sight is gone.
Blue skys are only known to passing clouds
with no qualms niether sings a forethought song.
