Facebook wins.
It's a really simple call:
On one hand, you have a website while, although quite trendy and fun in it's own right, only has one feature: tell people what you're doing/ thinking/ masturbating to.
On the other hand, you have a website that, although a bit complicated, does that and much much more. On facebook, you can keep track of pretty much everything there is to know about a person.
That makes it the winner.
One plus side of Twitter: it's simplicity. If you're into just telling people "what's up," then by all means, tweet away. Because of its simplicity it seems to be the favorite of people just getting used to social networking.
But what is YOUR opinion?

Twitter is way more than just telling people what you're doing! Most of the people I follow don't even use it like that. It's a great networking and marketing tool. I use it to share things I've found online as well as promote blog posts, published articles and other things. I've been using Twitter about a year and a half and I feel it's just the newbies, or people who don't really understand Twitter that think it's just to tell people what you are doing. On the flip side, I have a love/hate relationship with Twitter. I think it's really overrated.

I totally agree, twitter is great if you just want to let people know what you are doing, but if you actually want to interact with people Facebook is so much better!
