Get Rid Of Twitter Scams & Spams

Twitter Scam's are actually something that is pretty common nowadays. But not in the way that you would think. A typical Twitter Scam would be Twitter spamming you links to sites where you are forced to buy stuff or download spyware and that type of thing.

That is not the case here. Twitter itself is not a scam, however the people that you find on Twitter may be trying to scam you. There are 3 basic ways to tell if someone is trying to scam/spam you on Twitter.

• No Profile Image But A Lot Of Followers
- If you see the default brownish/blue face as their picture, and they don't look brand new then they are probably trying to Twitter Scam you. My best advice in this case would be to either remover them as a follower or better yet, block the suckers!

• All Of Their Tweets Contain Links

- If all of a person's links on Twitter contain nothing but links this should tell you that they are not having real conversations with people on Twitter, which is what Twitter is for. Don't fall victim to the dreaded Twitter Scam links.

• Plenty Of Followers But Hardly Any Tweets

- Here is yet another sign of a Twitter Scam. When you come across a profile with nothing but a few Tweets but they somehow have thousands of followers then you will know for sure that they are some Twitter Scammers/Spammers.

It's very important to keep in mind when you are new to Twitter. It's not like anything serious has ever really happened because of these spammers, well yet anyways. But everyday you will seen new types of spammers emerging into the Twittersphere, each time getting more and more intelligent. No one is exactly sure what they are up to yet, but one thing is for certain. They are plotting...
