Since there are approximately 3500 calories in a pound of fat, if you work off 3500 calories, you will lose a pound of fat. This is done by cutting back on calories or exercising a bit harder to burn off calories. However, just because you learned or know this does not mean you can go losing 10 lbs a week as many doctors say it’s not recommended to do that so that you correctly allow your body to adjust to the weight loss.

Here I’ve formulated some things to do to naturally and safely shed 35 hundred calories.

Run

Running will help. I don’t really like running myself so I say speed walk or bike as an alternative; but running at a steady slow pace will help you slice about 400 calories in itself (depends on body type and speed). Running five days a week at a consistent steady pace for about 45 minutes to an hour a day; and keep a reasonable diet you’ll be on a great pace.

It is common that you’ll want to eat heavier since you’re exercising more; and you’ll eat things such as pasta and rice, you know heavy carbohydrates.

On the contrary, it is a reverse affect. Put it this way, when you burn 400 calories but eat a great pasta dish with 450 carbs; you are doing the hamster. You are running in place; in fact you’re going backwards.

Running, biking, or speed walking will increase your metabolism and strengthen and tone your muscles so you are burning calories effectively.

Eat In

The other thing you can do to shed the calories is to eat at the best restaurant in your area… that’s your home. When you eat out you are blindly allowing the restaurant to give you foods high in calories, fat, and overall unhealthy. You could cook the same dish and monitor the calories (since you prepared it), and make it a 500 calorie dinner instead of a 2000 calorie dinner. That is why it is better to eat in.

When you do eat out it’s usually with friends where the food is not the main focus; but the conversation rather. Because of this, you’ll tend to eat more portions than you would if you were eating at home. If you must eat out; eat with people who are also “calorie conscious” or who eat modestly. The difference will amaze you when you eat in more often than out.

Cutting down on your overall calorie consumption and doing more physical activity, you’ll see that you’ll lose thirty-five hundred calories without losing your mind or going crazy and reverting back to eating bad. The key is to stay focused on your goal, only talk with motivated and like minded goal seekers and the weight will come off easily. Your friends know your method to burn off calories works!
