Twubs Collects Twitter Tags

Update: Twubs has rolled out a new format, where you can join each hashtag you want to join. This is great and allows you to list only the hashtags you have joined in the "my hashtags" feature. This is a great organizational tool for using hashtags. There is even a category directory for hashtags if you need some ideas as to what hashtags to use and or join!

Update: With Twubs you can add pics and video as attachments. It is very convenient to do so and the pics will be added to your Twitpic account. Twubs will accumulate all the relevant Tweets. And you can shorten your url by tweeting from Twubs. The hashtags will be automatically added. so be at the hashtag you want before you Tweet!

Also, do not use a hashtag to promote a site that has nothing to do with the hashtag subject. That is Twitter Spam, or Twam. Not Good!!

Twubs is a really cool Twitter application that accumulates hashtags. Twubs is very new and is a Wiki system. Twubs accumulates every tag under the sun. And you become a contributor to a hashtag by simply posting a tweet with a hashtag attached. The hashtag for Facebook, for example, is #FB. Popular tags include #fashion, #shopping and many more.

There is a huge advantage in joining Twubs, especially if you have a lot of Twitter followers and have folks interested in the same subjects that you are. You can join for free, search for a hashtag, and even place your website on the right hand column of the hashtag page that Twub creates. You control the hashtag. Isn't that cool? Then someone else can edit that hashtag but cannot eliminate your url contributions. Make sure the url is relevant to the hashtag at Twub. Be a good Twubber!

Hubbers and all of you website promoters, that feature is so cool. That is a great way to get a Twitter related link and as this site grows, more traffic. It is a way to organize a subject so that it makes sense to you and your followers, so that it is useful. In fact, the theme of  Twubs is "#hashtags made useful". I guarantee you that this Twitter app will explode in popularity.

Promote your hubs, promote your blogs, promote your favorite themes. Find out real time information on your favorite subjects through the tweets of others. And then you can even keep track of what you promoted because Twub keeps a record of all of your hashtags when you log in. Isn't that cool? Why am I giving this secret out? I should be over there being first on every tag I can think of.
