Tyler Weinman

Tyler Weinman is the 18 year old cat killer from Miami, Florida. Tyler tortured, mutilated and killed 19 cats in the Miami area. He was charged with 19 counts of animal cruelty, 19 counts of improperly disposing of an animal body and 4 counts of burglary. Tyler was previously charged with marijuana possession on May29, 2009. The police are still investigating other cases where cats have been murdered in the Miami area.

What would make someone do this? How could anyone take a poor, innocent creature kill it. It is bad enough that the cats were killed but first he had to torture and mutilate them. What kind of person does this?

I think of my little kitten, Arrow. If anyone ever hurt him I'd be so upset. I love Arrow, very, very much and I would turn into a basket-case if something like that ever happened to him. Imagine what the poor cat owners are going through knowing what Tyler did to their cats.

I don't know how Tyler could sleep at night, knowing what he did. He obviously doesn't have a conscience.  I, for one, think the criminal court system should throw the book at him for these senseless, horrendous crimes. Sure, they were just cats, but they were someone's cats. They were loved by someone and cared for by someone.

I will never know what possesses someone to do such a thing. However, if he is on drugs, that explains a lot.

My four month old kitten, Arrow.

They say that if convicted he faces with 158 years in prison meaning his whole life. That is exactly what he needs. People tend to first start killing animals and than humans so definitely it is great that he will probably stay in prison his whole life.

maxini de rossi thank you for your comment and yes, that is great because he can't kill anything and get away with it.

If he mutilated them first then he probably got a sick kick out of it. He wants locking up and the key throwing away. If he is such a sick individual who knows were his cruelty could go. Bas---d sorings to mind

Wonder how long it will take for the sick freak's dad's business to tank?

Five minutes alone with the sadistic evil freak, that's all I ask.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. His parents must be real peices of work.

Sam23, I don't think we should ever judge parents for the way a child turns out, believe me I know this from experience.

Killing small animals is usually a sign of Pathological Behavior. I introduce u to you the next Jeffrey Dahmer if this guy doesn't get some serious help. His mind is twisted.

I hate this person more than I have ever hated another human being. At 18 he is a man, and should be jailed for life. To hell with him. Pathetic little monster!

Andy, those are pretty strong words, but you know what, I agree!!! How could anyone do that to innocent little cats and kittens?

With all due respect, your comment about "...being on drugs...," explains nothing. The drugs, the booze, the highs, the cigarettes, the whatever, does not promote someone to commit those acts.

People (society) will use one or all as excuses as to "why."

The real truth is the actual "button" is in a person's psyche. Simply put, "they have a screw loose." Only if you're geared to do these crimes will substances "possibly or maybe" push the button.

But, I agree with everything else that's been posted.

Thank you for your comment, pinktaxi. I, however, do disagree with your what you said about drugs. I do beleive that drugs are the reason he committed these senseless acts of violence.

I heard he's going to be sentenced to 158 years max. That's too merciful! It should be death!
