Types Of Video Marketing
58
The greatest part about market on the World Wide Web is that it’s a lot cheaper than advertising campaigns in the real world. It’s also great how many different ways there are to advertise, you can use all sorts of different mediums to convey your message, and some of them include video, audio, and text.
Video marketing campaigns are the most effective and there are a lot of people that love to watch these videos.
Product Launch Videos
The name of this one makes it pretty obvious, it promotes a video that has just been released. Of course this isn’t a new concept, there were videos like this back in the thirties, but they were not widely shared. The reason for this is that it was actually rather difficult to share a video back then seeing as there was no medium for it. This all changed with the introduction of the internet, and because of it’s abilities many people can now share in these videos.
Product Review Videos
Using a video like this, a product can be reviewed with it’s positive aspects highlighted. By doing this, people may become inclined to purchase it, as they now know about it’s features and function.
Instructional Videos
Videos such as these have gained in popularity more so than any other type of video just because they provide free instructions which may not be freely available otherwise. These make a lot of money for the business, because while it provides quite a bit of information, it doesn’t provide everything and makes the viewer want to buy the product. These types of videos really help to raise sales.
Testimonial Videos
These are all over the place, and their purpose is to tell people about products. They will take a person who has used the product, and that person tells the world about how the product helped them. It is best to keep the negative reviews and testimonials out of the public eye.
Viral Marketing Videos
These videos are pretty unique in that they’re quirky, and they are made so that people will enjoy passing them around to friends, or distributing them in some other way.
It’s difficult to make a good viral marketing video, because they have to be made in such a way that people will like them, and sometimes it’s difficult to tell what people are going to like.
