It has now become a ritual for my youngest daughter and I. Usually, each evening at dinner we sit and watch The Tyra Banks Show. My daughter has programmed the DVR to record the show each day automatically. Recently, I guess in honor of season 5 Tyra changed her hair do. She is looking a lot thinner these days too, by the way. Anyway, I haven't decided if I like the new look (of her hair) just yet.

Even though I tried I wasn't able to find a picture of the hair style so you will have to catch the next episode to see what you think. Lately, she has been wearing it in a soft wavy vintage look. Its cute, but I'm not sure if its totally her. I will say that it does make her look younger, with a big bang and one side smoothed back away from her face you can see her forehead and eyes quite well. Its different, perhaps I'm not used to it because she normally does the very sleek, long hair. This wavy look is something new to me.

The change in her style may also be inspired by the fact that she has decided to start wearing her own natural hair. During her years in modeling she wore weaves and wigs to get the beautiful looks she had. Now she has decided to wear her own hair. I'm glad to see her hair is healthy and beautiful underneath those weaves and wigs, sometimes for some people that is so not the case! Way to go Tyra.

Side Note: Let me just say that if you do wear wigs or weave it is best to maintain the health of your natural hair to the best of your ability. You also need to give yourself a break from these things from time to time.
