Setting the Stage
Well, it's good to be Tony Castelluci. Apparently people like me and I have many friends who are a network of extended family. I have true brothers and sisters that surprise me over & over with their generosity and decency.
Yesterday around 3pm, I was casually working. But something was keeping me from focusing 100%. So actually, we can replace the idea of “casually” with slightly disinterested. Then I get a text message from an old friend from mine. "You got tix?" was the lone question on my little phone screen. "to what?" I responded. "U2" the answer came back.
Well, since U2 seemed to have gotten over that Zoo TV Pop era, and have been playing like a real rock band for the last 10 years, I accepted. And honestly, how can anyone say no to free tickets. Oh, OK, maybe if they are free Kanye West tickets.
After a quick & easy MARTA train ride I soon I found myself on15th floor of the Hyatt Regency on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta, with old friends. We soon departed making an easy walk to the Georgia Dome a few blocks south west of the Hyatt Regency. Downtown Atlanta is interesting anyway, and a great place to hub your visit to the area. But when there is a big convention, sports activity, or concert in town, the place is absolutely bursting with energy.
The first thing you notice when you walk into a U2 show is the stage. It’s big, it’s circular, and it means business. The stage is so amazing in fact, it essentially becomes another member of the band, or at least it becomes a major part of the show. For without the massive 360-degree jumbotron, you could not properly enjoy the band with such rich detail.
Political Statement
Could Bono have dedicated a song to this?
Peaceful Protest
Political Activism with Electric Guitars
Beyond the hypocrisy of Bono & U2 lies, I think, a true urge to do some good in the world. During the show Bono dedicated a song to Aung San Suu Kyi. She was the woman elected as President of Burma & then put on house arrest. The band also promoted a foundation they created called One. We also received a message from Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu.
One’s US Agenda is as follows: In 2008, ONE members rallied across America to urge the candidates to make bold commitments in the fight against global disease and extreme poverty. While I wholeheartedly joined One while at the concert, I was perplexed that their focus seemed to strictly be Africa. Now, I know Africa has been besieged by genocide, disease, hunger & poverty. But I suppose I would rather go straight at the source of these problems and call a horse a horse, so to speak. So, it puzzles me why Bono & company didn’t specifically criticize the several culprits to Africa’s plight. How many people would be newly educated by Bono if he were to tell the crowd world wide central banking and energy cartels are the primary cause of Africa’s problems.
Why for instance did Bono not mention the recent Jack Booted assault on peaceful Americans exercising their 1st Amendment rights of Free Speech at the G20 summit in Pittsburgh? Surely a minor statement about that would have been an obvious lead in to Sunday Bloody Sunday. Perhaps he thinks if he gets too political he will lose a vast portion of his country club tuck & collar audience.
Mother Ship has Landed: Get ready for Full Discosure
U2's Space Ship
Before the band played the moving and stirring song “One”, Bono made mention of their massive stage. He said, “This is our space ship.” I do specifically remember that quote. Then he said something to the effect of, “We are going everywhere with this space ship, bringing a message of unity & love.” Then they broke into the song One.
I’m not going to write any lyrics from One for you’re here, but it was interesting how that song ties into fore knowledge of disclosure if you know anything about the subject. It takes either a keen observer or an admittedly wild eye to see a message of UFO disclosure at a U2 Concert. But the stage sitting there like a gigantic mother ship, it was an instant connection.
Sure Bono may not be the guy to come onto your TV set and tell you, “Oh by the way, there are aliens who have been visiting earth for centuries. They mean to help usher us into an age of peace, free energy, and welcome us into the galactic community.” But, I do think he planted a seed. In fact the entire stage of U2's 360 Tour is another reference in the long list of pop culture alien imagery. It is designed to allow people to become used the idea of life on other planets. And, to get people used to the idea that highly advanced cultures have an interest into our ascension from a war based economy, into a resource abundance based economy.
But honestly, who would be better than Bono to spread that message. He is a worldwide icon. When the band walked into the Georgia Dome, we were on the second row in the “back” of the round stage. So we watched them walk within recognizable distance from us. It’s funny, but when I saw Bono & The Edge I said to myself, “Oh, there’s those dudes.” I’m not one to be star struck anyway, but there was definitely energy about Bono & company that had a grounded reality. Yeah sure they are international rock stars, but they seemed to understand they are playing the role of rock stars.

U2 Wants to Change the World
Before the show, friends of mine who are much bigger U2 fans than I, told stories about the band. They told a story about how Adam Clayton, (the bass player for U2), was standing over Bono in New Orleans as he sang Pride back before Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday had been ratified as a holiday in the USA. He stood over him because Bono was threatened with a bullet if he sang that song in the south.
Another story is that when they were all teenagers they were sitting at Larry Mullen Jr.’s house when they decided to form a band. The specific words they used tie into the idea that U2 could be used, in part, for UFO disclosure. They told Larry’s mother, “We are going to change the world.” Well, they do seem to have a strong and honest interest in positive world change.
Buckminster Fuller, was the father of many accomplishments and ideas designed to sustain life on our planet and to end wars. His chief idea to end all wars was to put an electrical grid across the entire planet. That way the idea of lack and limitation of resources would disappear as remote villages could now drill for water and have power for irrigation. Of course, with the corporate nature of energy, we find ourselves at an impasse for such an endeavor.

U2: The Rock & Roll Philanthropists
Part of the push for disclosure of UFO truth embargo, has been for the release of knowledge of free energy devices. these free energy devices supposedly power alien craft that have been recovered by the USA. Sequestering these secrets into the hand of corporations have conveniently kept those secrets from finding light in our wilted democracy. The facts surrounding the Truth Embargo are better handled by UFO researchers Stanton Friedman, and Exopolitical Advocates, Alfred Webre, Dr. Steven Greer, and Stephen Bassett. So I won’t try to explain that subject to you here.
But I ask you, wouldn’t Buckminster Fuller’s idea of ending war with a world wide electrical grid be realized easier with the disclosure of free energy devices. The answer is, yes. Would it end all wars over night? Probably not, but eventually, when people worldwide could communicate freely, move around freely, and discover their shared family of fellow humans, we would eventually move away from war. For then our economy would be based on abundance and the merit of doing right by others.
Perhaps U2 are more than musicians and philanthropic pop icons. Perhaps they are the spokesmen for a true world change.
As U2 was performing “One”, I looked around at all the 70,000 or so people around the stadium. Their arms were up, everyone was on their feet, and I thought, “Yeah, this could really happen. We can see peace and the end of lack in this lifetime.”
