Is it nice that the Bush administration has been out of office for a few months now? Isn't nice to have some freedom back?
I was reading tonight an article on a gambling news site. It is expected to take a couple of weeks to try and get this UIGEA over turned. However there are anti-gambling groups rounding up their troops to try and stop this. With them not caring about the American taxes, which if the UIGEA is over turned and there is oversight on on-line gambling there will be a tax from winnings. $57 billion worth and not all at once.
What I am urging Americans like my self who love freedom, and who aren't swayed by a religion or a political stance, to rise up write your congressman and or Senator and tell them your stance on gambling. This may sound crazy. But these congressmen do whats best for their pockets, and usually we are left in the weeds. If they feel they are doing right by us by going against the grain they will. Even if our better interest is with the grain so to speak.
Remind them who they work for. Get your friends, family and neighbors to do the same. If they don't understand fill them in on how the tax revenue will help education or whatever the government wants to use the $57 billion for. It also helps boost the economy, and everyone wins.
