So I am a mom and I drive a station wagon which I love. My suv was totalled and I needed another car quickly. Now that I got rid of that gas guzzler I knew I needed to switch to something more cost efficient. I also knew that with my 3 long legged kids I will still need something with a lot of room and possibly still that 3rd row. I almost went with the volvo again which I had driven in the past. I came across the Mercedes Benz station wagon though. I knew I was in love. Not only was it smaller than my suv and easier to drive, it had a 3rd row. As far as the cost of repair and gas. It's not what you think. It has been very cost effecient and even with the premium gas I save more on my Mercedez than my truck. My kids love riding in the back row facing the world behind me. It's the highlight of their ride and guess what? I don't have to hand them anything. In fact I don't have to listen to them. I just say "I can't hear you, you're too far away" It's a rare car and everyone should have one.
