A-22 has "classic" light aeroplane layout. The designers wanted to create an ultralight aeroplane with maximum of comfort, nice look, pilot seats placed side-by-side (many people prefer this model of seats), steerable nose wheel (for easier ground handling), with good flight performance.

Earlier designed A-20 was built for flight performance, but the A-22 is created for the pilot comfort and pleasure. So A-22 makes a good alternative to A-20 and you can choose which you like best.

You can easy take it away with you. A-22 structure is almost completely all-metal (only engine cowling and few more parts are made of composites) with fabric covering of wing and control surfaces. Extensive glazing of the cockpit provides excellent nearly all-round pilot view.
