54How do we do business in eBusiness? Generally an eBusiness is done in 3 simple steps:
- A company or a person who is involved in eBusiness publicizes their website with their products and or their service. These websites have to be representative to attract consumers. It could take form as a static website, forum or even a blog. The web pages should be a combination of informative text, interesting pictures or even flash animations. These websites could be advertized throughout the internet by using programs such as Google Adwords to attract consumers via text or banner ads.
- A person who is interested in the product or service will visit the website and does an act of purchase. He will sign electronic forms and sometimes will have to enter his/her credit card number.
- After the completed payment, then a product or service will be presented to the consumer by postal service or other available forms.
It’s not difficult to start an eBusiness system although it needs time and effort to do several preparations.
The transaction process in eBusiness is similar to the traditional process of business. Here are steps in eBusiness.
- Selecting product of their choice through a product catalog available on the website.
- A person decides to initiate of purchase. The seller will identify the purchase and send an advance message regarding the total price and shipment details.
- The seller does an authorization request to the credit card company to complete the transaction of digital money spent by the consumer.
- The bank related to the credit card does an authorization through identification.
- The seller asks the bank to complete the payment.
- After all the payments are done, the seller sends the product or the service to the consumer through a courier service or a postal service.
