OUCH! Things are getting better? October 4th 2009

While many feel the economy is turning around when you start to look at the numbers it paints a new picture and takes the breath away from many. We all know unemployment is high right now but did you know it is actually getting higher! While you do not hear many reports of big layoffs like you used to it is still happening and whats worse is no new jobs are springing up which means no ones being hired thus creating this ever growing unemployment rate.

Today the state of New York's rising unemployment rate is raising eyebrows as it reports a massive. In the new york department of labor report just released it states as of August 2009 New York State is at a solid 9.0% unemployment rate while New York City Bolsters a massive 10.3% and the United State average at 9.7% You can view this full report here at New York State Department of Labor

In fact today Google ranks searches for unemployment for New York searches as one of the largest searches. Many of them searches from the state as people are looking for information on where to get labor benefits.
